Xperia S, a play station certified phone from Sony has now started to ship globally. Presently it would be supporting Android OS version 2.3 Gingerbread but manufacturers have promised it to be update to the latest Android ICS 4.0. Xperia S is equipped with 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 12 mp camera, 1GB of RAM and 32 GB of data storage memory.
Though shipping of the device been announced, Sony is yet to reveal what would be the price, they would be selling it. Sony has also provided the support of near field communications (NFC) allowing users to quickly tag the phones at different locations.
